Paradise City Arts’ signature Spring Show is coming up fast - Memorial Day weekend, May 23 -25, 2009.
Working hard to get my collection of silk wearables ready; although there may be less disposable income around, people are all the more interested in quality work hand-produced in the U.S.A. - and that’s good news for me!
The show takes place indoors and under tents at the Three County Fairgrounds in Northampton MA. Saturday and Sunday, May 23-24, from 10:00 to 6:00, Monday, May 25 from 10:00 to 5:00. Directions here.
Stop by Booth #144 and say hello!

Welcome to the Pat Hayes art space: The Finely Crafted Life.
I’m a Western Massachusetts artist working in painted and dyed textiles, as well as an art therapist and instructor in fine crafts.
My “Art from the Heart” workshops for survivors of breast cancer are supported by the Rays of Hope Walk and sponsored by Baystate Medical Center, Springfield MA. I also conduct workshops for groups, organizations and the general public.
At my studio in Northampton, MA, I create wearable art pieces with hand-dyed, painted and stenciled silk. From wispy spring scarves to custom mother-of-the-bride ensembles, my designs flatter the figure and add a little luxury without taking the focus off you.
I consult with clients by appointment at the studio, and exhibit my work at venues such as the Don Muller Gallery and Paradise City Arts shows.
